How fast a car loses value in Greece
Depreciation is not a fixed percentage per year. Most of the loss happens in the first three years, after which the curve flattens sharply. In Greece the curve is shallower than in northern Europe, because registration tax keeps new cars expensive and pulls used prices up with them - which is why a ten-year-old car here still has real market value.
