- Can I value my car by registration number?
- Yes, though the VIN is the surer route. From a VIN we identify make, model, year, engine and gearbox without you typing anything else. A plate is looked up in the registry first; when the registry does not answer, the VIN on your registration document gives the same result.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. The first three valuations run with no account and no card: you give the car's details and get the prices.
- Which of the three prices should I use?
- The private-sale price if you are advertising the car yourself. The trade-in value if you are going to a dealer, because they have to resell it and price accordingly. The quick-sale price if it has to be gone within days.
- What is the price calculated from?
- Live used-car listings in the Greek market, not European price tables. Every valuation shows how many listings it rests on, so you know what the number is worth.
